Virat kohli no.1

Virat Kohli has become the No. 1 ranked batsman in ODIs after the just concluded India-Australia series, which India won 3-2.
Kohli scored 344 runs in 5 innings, averaging 114.66 with the bat. He also scored the fastest and third-fastest hundred by an Indian batsman. He achieved his career-highest rating of 869 on 30th October, which fell to 857 after he was run-out for a duck in the 7th ODI in Bengaluru.
The Indian batsman has displaced Hashim Amla from the top of the ladder, who with 844 points, is the 2nd ranked batsman in ODIs currently. Amla is missing the currentODI series against Pakistan to attend the birth of his child in South Africa.
George Bailey, who was the 2nd highest scorer with 478 runs in the series, has jumped to No. 3 position, his highest career ranking so far.
MS Dhoni is the only other Indian batsman in top 10 at 6th position in the list.
Shikhar Dhawan also achieved his career-high rating of 688 and has jumped to the No. 11 spot.
Rohit Sharma, who became the third batsman to score a double century in ODIs yesterday, and was the top run-scorer (491) from either side in the series, grabbed the No. 15 place with career-high rating of 655 which he achieved after the 7th ODI.
